Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Plot: 5/5

Character’s: 4/5

Language: 4/5

It’s been an honour to write the review for the first book I ever read.

Harry Potter books are mainly rated in series but I decided that I will do this individually.

The story’s simply superb. Characters are described quite nicely but then also they are less concentrated. Language, mainly in two or three sentences is incorrect.

So, the story is something like this:

Harry Potter, an orphan who is teased by his cousin Dudley and bullied by his aunt and uncle. He is quite unusual boy.

He comes to the truth only after the arrival of the giant Hagrid that he is a wizard and how his parents had died.

Then he is sent to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He discovers that he is quite famous in the wizarding world. He makes friends with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. He even develops enemies, Draco Malfoy.

He discovers that the school has many secrets. He always feels safe when he sees that his Headmaster is around.

Then he comes to know that the school is protecting something called Philosopher’s stone.

He thinks that his potions’ master Severus Snape who already loathed Harry wanted it.

Harry and his friends try to protect the stone but then they realize the true seeker is not Snape.:)

I will give only this much of story I don’t want to spoil all the fun.
